Andrew Urquhart brings more than 20 years of small business ownership and operating experience, together with more than a decade in real estate, to his role as a childcare business broker.

Having operated a childcare service in New South Wales for eight years, Andrew understands the daily realities of centre ownership, including staffing, compliance, occupancy and financial performance. This firsthand experience informs his approach to assessing businesses, preparing owners for sale and helping buyers evaluate suitable opportunities.

Andrew combines practical business knowledge with strong negotiation skills and commercial judgement. He understands the considerations on both sides of a transaction and values clear communication, trust and consistent service throughout the sale process.

A certified MAUS adviser, Andrew holds a Diploma in Community Services (Children’s Services) and an Associate Diploma in Business Management. He has also taught in early education, adding an educational perspective to his operational and commercial experience.
